Shutter Themes is an offshoot of iThemes which specialises in WordPress themes for Photographers. In addition to five variations on their original Photo Gallery Theme, they’ve also just released the stylish Viz | Biz Portfolio Theme.

Although these themes are great as they are, my suggestions for possible improvements would be: a) include an image resize script to avoid having to crop each image specially for the homepage and b) include the image’s IPTC/EXIF data in the post page automatically, especially as WordPress v2.5 can extract this data from uploaded images.

In the meantime, there are several image resizing plugins and scripts out there (such as Viva Thumbs, TimThumb, or Get the Image), and Andrew of Fun with WordPress has created a plugin to facilitate the inclusion of EXIF data.
