We can’t say it often enough: the strength of WordPress lies in its community. It offers an army of contributors who actively participate in the success of the web’s leading CMS. Beyond the development of the tool, the WP community is a forum for exchange between all stakeholders. It’s the very expression of the richness of Open Source technology.
What is a Word Camp for?
WP WordCamps are non-profit events organized on a voluntary basis by members of the WordPress community. It’s “The place to be” for users, designers and developers alike, who have the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences and skills.
The Loewenberg center in Murten, 24 km from Berne and 15 km from Fribourg, will host the next Word Camp on April 1, 2023.
What will the Word Camp Switzerland 2023 be like?
We can already tell you that it’s going to be an intense day, rich in learning and discoveries. After the traditional coffee, get-togethers and a short official part, it’s at 10 a.m. that things get serious.
No less than 16 conferences will be held on a multitude of subjects, each as interesting as the next. We’ll be talking about e-commerce sites optimized for sales, conversion best practices, graphic design and WordPress in 2025.
Needless to say, the quality of the speakers, who come from all over the world, makes these presentations invaluable for any user who wants to make the most of what WordPress has to offer.
A day not to be missed
Such a rich program deserves time to discover this valuable mine of information. This marathon day will end at 7pm, to make way for the After Party, featuring an aperitif, followed by an excellent meal. It’s the perfect time to meet people you can’t meet anywhere else.
True to its values, the WP community wants this event to be open to all, at an extremely modest price. So, even if you use a computer with an unlikely OS, code in a secret language or are a fervent believer in another CMS, you’ll be welcome at Word Camp Switzerland 2023.
